BlazeCut VW Automatic Fire Suppression System, 12ft Length
BlazeCut Automatic Fire Protection System will help protect your valuable investment in the event of a fire. It uses HFC-236fa, which is an extremely effective, clean and people-safe extinguishing medium. This system works by monitoring the temperature in your engine compartment. If the temperature of your engine compartment rises above 248°F, the detection tube melts down, releasing the entire extinguishing agent onto the source of the fire. This system is fully self contained the tube does both storage and detection duties, no need for an external system.
Installation Note: This system is easy to install in any engine compartment, simply use the supplied zip ties and mount the tube to the underside of the deck lid on Bug, Super Beetle and Ghia. No drilling required.
