Bugpack VW Spring Plate Bushings, 1-7/8in I.D., Round, Urethane, Black
Over the years your stock rubber bushings have taken a lot of abuse and should be replaced. These re-designed spring plate grommets constructed of a softer Polyurethane compound offer both a superb fit and ride. Available in black Polyurethane for that factory look for both swing axle and IRS applications. Work great with aftermarket spring plate covers. Rear spring plate grommets designed not to crunch and “bottom out” as soft stock rubber grommets do. For a stiffer bushing use the Bugpack/EMPI red urethane bushings/grommets. Made in the USA
Application Information: Using stock spring plates for the following years. In 1968 Volkswagen introduced the Auto-stick and this option used an IRS rear suspension.
