Hand-assembled in Southern California by VW racing legend Jack Sacchette, EMPI Long Block Engines feature all-new, EMPI-matched and approved components. They are available for Type 1, 2, or 3 applications, with no core required and are readily in stock for immediate shipping. These engines are designed for ideal daily driving and leisurely town cruising. Price includes shipping via truck freight that also includes residential lift gate service if needed.

Installation Note: Engine does not come with oil. This 1914cc engine is equipped with chromoly pushrods. When it's time to adjust the valves or if you're inspecting them before the initial start, ensure they are set to "zero lash." The pushrod should rotate freely, without any play between the rocker arm, pushrod, or valve stem. 

Application Note: This is considered a universal part and can fit many different applications based on modifications to the vehicle.
