The EMPI GTV-2 non ported cylinder head stands out from the competition with its impressive features. It boasts beefed-up intake & exhaust ports that allow for massive porting without the need for welding. Made from a special aluminum alloy, it offers both strength and durability while being repairable. The intake & exhaust ports are 20% larger than stock, providing improved performance right out of the box.
The head is designed with added material surrounding the combustion chamber, allowing for deep fly cutting. Its thick interior walls make it ideal for porting. The exhaust air passages are clear for excellent cooling. It is machined for a 12mm 3/4" long reach spark plug.
The GTV-2 casting can be used as-is for exceptional performance or customized with any hand or CNC port configuration from mild to wild. All EMPI complete heads come with hardened tip stainless steel valves and a hi-performance 3-angle valve job.
