IMI Performance Products VW Starter, 12 Volt, Hi-Torque Gear Reduction
This IMI Performance Products Hi-Torque starter is a 1.2kW genuine Nippon Denso starter motor with a 4.44 to 1 gear ratio and can be re-indexed to fit the Volkswagen Bug, Super Beetle, Ghia, Bus, Type 3 and Thing. This starter is 12 Volt and has a 9 tooth(small diameter) gear for the 200mm 12 Volt Volkswagen flywheel.
Installation Note: This is a self supporting starter and does not require the standard starter busing used with the SR15 starter. Will only work with a 12 Volt / 130 tooth flywheel.
